Submission
This page is for submitting your thoughts, questions, answers, theories, and replies about the mysteries featured on TMV. Submissions can be made via email, which is provided at the bottom of this page. Submission will be displayed below the dedicated question box at the bottom of each tab on each mystery. Please read the policies and requirements below before submitting.
Submission Policies
- Every submission will be reviewed by TMV before it is published. TMV will determine whether the submission is meaningful, relevant, understandable, and appropriate for the website.
- Submissions may contain questions, answers, replies, theories, observations, and similar contributions related to the mysteries featured on TMV. Content that is meaningless, nonsensical, or otherwise unsuitable may be ignored or rejected.
- A submission may be ignored or rejected if its main point is unrelated to the mystery or if it provides no meaningful addition to the existing content.
- A proper name of the person submitting should be provided with each submission. The submission will be displayed below the provided name. If a proper name is not provided, the submission may be rejected/ignored, or TMV may assign a unique identifier in the name section.
- If a submission is a reply to another contributor, the person being replied to and the specific contribution being replied to must be clearly identified in the submission. If the relevant submission or the person being replied to cannot be identified, the submission may be ignored or rejected.
- Submissions may not contain images or videos. External links may be included, but all links will be reviewed and verified by TMV before publication.
- The contributor's email address and profile picture will not be shown to the public.
- The content of each verified submission, including the sender's email address, will be stored separately and will only be accessible to TMV.
- If a submission has weak or confusing wording, the contributor may be asked to revise it, or the submission may be rejected/ignored. Typos and other minor issues may be corrected by TMV.
- Repeated submissions of the same content will not result in faster processing or reconsideration. They may instead result in the previous submissions being removed from the website or a spam report being made. Multiple submissions of different content from the same person within a short period will be treated similarly.
- A submission that meets the requirements may take hours or days to be reviewed and, if selected, added to TMV.
- If the main point of a submission has already been sufficiently covered and adding it provides no additional benefit, the submission may be ignored or rejected.
- TMV reserves the right to remove any published submission at any time without the permission of the contributor.

Mystery: The Yuba County Five
Tab: Theories
Submission:
I think the five men may have become disoriented after leaving the basketball game and accidentally took the wrong road. The weather conditions could have made it difficult to determine their location, especially once they entered the mountainous area.
The fact that the car was found abandoned while some of the men continued on foot makes me think they may have believed that help was nearby. Their decisions might have been influenced by the cold, darkness, and confusion.

Replying to: Alex Morgan
Contribution being replied to:

Submission:
I agree that the weather may have played an important role, but I think the abandoned car makes the situation more difficult to explain. If the men were already lost, leaving the car may have made it much harder for them to find their way back or attract attention.
I think the decision to continue on foot may have been influenced by the belief that help was closer than it actually was.
